Starting over...

Since 2005, I've been working on the Evil Good Series. My past attempts at it, however, left a lot to be desired, so I dumped the series mid-2006. It didn't get revived until last year.

Now, it's back, in all its unfinished glory, and with everything added to it - notes, diagrams, sources, and so on.

Evil Good was always intended to be a work of fiction but seen from another light, it's a long, philosophical ramble on religion, people, and the fate of the world...with some gunfights thrown in. And psychic powers. Gotta have the psychic powers.

It was originally inspired by the ending of the Supernatural episode All Hell Breaks Loose Part Two. I hated it, so I decided to solve the problem.

Problem: Dean is going to die in one year because of the deal. He can't break the deal because Sam will die.
Solution: Someone other than Sam and Dean breaks the deal.
Problem: Bobby doesn't know how to.
Solution: Someone other than any of the characters in the series.
Overall solution: demons.

That was my thought process, basically.

After that, I figured why stop at one story? Why not draw it out more? Once it became a series, I realised how much potential it had for me to get ideas out of my head and down on paper.

Many of the stories began as stand-alone stories, and then developed into the series itself. The Memory Remains and Welcome Home are prime examples. Others (like Learning to Fly and Mindfields) developed out of single scenes, and the rest were natural continuations of the plot.

If I finish the series, I'll start another, which I've already entitled Generation W. This will follow the adventures of the Winchester children, and will continue on the themes of the previous series. I already have the idea for two parts to it (First Blood and Father's Sins) but I won't work on it completely until I have finished Evil Good.

Finally done sorting out files. Will get to work on TMR as soon as sanely possible, i.e. lunchtime.

Have decided to get around to summarizing information, profiling characters, etc. but it'll take a while.

Have also found a beta, thankfully.

Haven't done much work in ages - most of it was at home. Nothing has been sorted out yet either. Mostly my fault.

I finally almost finished the summary, and am working alternately on Evil Good Part 1 and Intermission, as well as doing snippets for the other fics. Lastly, I should probably get around to finishing/uploading The Memory Remains, or at least retitling it, but y'know, life and school are getting in the way.
And teachers that won't let me work on it in class *cough COUGH*.

Post One - Week One - Thursday

Beginning work. Have to summarize everything first, so I know what the hell I'm doing.

Lol. Every fic has a two-page summary.
